Looking for good vegan restaurants.

Thanks
Hi there,
There are surprisingly very few truly vegan or vegan-friendly restaurants in Nassau County. Aside from 3 Brothers (which I love), I usually stick with Asian (Yummy Yummy in Long Beach) or Indian (House of Dosas in Hicksville).

Most that I go to aren’t 100% vegan but have extensive vegan menus/vegan substitutions.

3 Brothers (locations in Farmingdale, Copiague, Lynbrook, Rockville Centre)
Fuel Your Body Cafe in Hicksville
Burger Village in Hicksville
Za Pizzeria in Seaford
That Pizza Place in Levittown
Organic Corner in Massapequa
The Purple Elephant in Northport (I know this is Suffolk but in my opinion it’s worth the drive!!)

Um… Factory farming causes clear harm/distress/pain to animals. That is not the case for plants. Sure meat can be healthy for humans, however the way we currently mass produce meat products is not natural or ethical by any stretch of the imagination. Vegans choose not to participate in the needless and tremendous harm inflicted upon animals. I’m not even vegan anymore myself but it’s very clearly an ethical and respectable choice. I don’t understand why anyone would have an issue with someone choosing to live this way.
