I am very unlucky and my house got broke in today while going out for grocery. Polices said it happened few times in past 2 weeks.
Anyone suspect the crime rate and safety getting worst in Syosset area? specially in South Gove area?
Forget whatever you knew or thought about safety on Long Island. It's over. Young men, mostly black and hispanic, no longer fear driving into an upper class white/asian/jewish neighborhood, scouting out homes and then robbing them (or you or your car). The police can not profile them. It's happening to every middle/upper class area of NY, including the nicer areas of Queens.
Just 2 weeks ago there was a person followed from Great Neck all the way up to Kings Point where they were car jacked at a stop sign.
Did you get an alert on your phone that someone rang your doorbell?
I sent your pics to friends to warn them and they knew about this type of burglary. They are an organized gang doing this from Bayside to Stonybrook. They pretend to be a delivery guy and if no one answers the door, they break in from the backyard.

yes. unfortunately i missed the notification at the spot since there is poor reception at the grocery store around the area.
You get what you vote for. Thanks for the memories Gov Hochul.
As much as I hate politics I can not disagree with this. This soft on crime stance does not work!
