hi,

I and my wife are looking to move to LI. we are looking at a house and have kind of zeroed in on north Woodmere. We like the green streets in the shade and the style of houses are well spread out and have good space inside and in the yard. We have no clue about anything in long island ! any help locating a house as described below will be a great help. Here go some numbers: we are looking for taxes under 15,000 / year. And prices around 550,000 for homes with nice layout of usable space, and prices of 650,000 where everything inside would be high end and done well, a nice manicured home that needs no work at all.

We are in Brooklyn and the price here is nuts. We are looking to either get a handyman special for a handyman price! (500s) Or a mint, nothing needed to renovate house for a fair value as well. (up to 700,000)

by good condition I am talking about granite counters and tiled baths, hardwood floors and central air, also the master bedroom needs it own private bathroom (again tiled) ALSO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT IS SUPER IMPORTANT - needs to be great

We don’t know any towns in LI so MLSLI is not at al much help. Cause as we learned from one realtor a place like five towns has areas like hew let harbor and hewlet bay where the rich and famous live. And a few blocks away we have north Woodmere that is more down to earth and doesn’t have 5 cars in the driveway but is still very nice.

also about price, in your estimate can we pull these home prices when we both make 200,000$ / year combined and have a newborn? the prices above were found by values of houses we liked. cheeper houses were not in the state where we can see our selves in.

Thank you
