Another example of NEWSDAY mistaking the community name in a place's mailing address for the community in which that place is located:
Fans flock to Morley Park to honor Sherlock Holmes -- Newsday.com (http://www.newsday.com/services/newspaper/printedition/monday/longisland/ny-lisher125996277jan12,0,602174.story - broken link)
In the second paragraph, the article states, "Called The Knothole, the one-room cabin, preserved in a Roslyn park bearing the author's name ... "
Christopher Morley Park is in North Hills ("Roslyn, NY 11576" mailing address).
In other words, if you want to send a letter to Christopher Morley Park, you would address this letter to "Roslyn, NY 11576"; however, if you want to actually go to Christopher Morley Park, you would go to North Hills.
It is important to understand that North Hills is one of those many villages and hamlets on Long Island where none of the places in the community have the village name as part of their mailing address.
For those who may not be familiar with North Hills:
North Hills is a village (incorporated in 1929) in the center part of the Town of North Hempstead, in the northwest part of Nassau County.
Beginning on the north and moving in a clockwise direction, the Village of North Hills in the Town of North Hempstead is bordered on the north by the Hamlet of Manhasset and the Village of Roslyn Estates; on the east by the Hamlet of Roslyn Heights and the Hamlet of Searingtown; on the south by the Hamlet of Manhasset Hills; and, on the west by the Village of Lake Success and the Hamlet of Manhasset.

North Hills is one of those many villages and hamlets on Long Island where none of the places in the community have the village name as part of their mailing address: places in the Village of North Hills have a "Roslyn, NY 11576", "Roslyn Heights, NY 11577", "Albertson, NY 11507", "New Hyde Park, NY 11040" and "Manhasset, NY 11030" mailing address.
For a good set of town-by-town maps showing all the villages and hamlets in each of LI's 13 towns (3 in Nassau County and 10 in Suffolk County):
