Just wondering if any home grown Long Islanders out there attended a nursery school called "Moppet Land" during the early 70's and if so, what your recollection was. I believe they used to occupy four or so houses in Terryville just north of Rte. 347. I'm really trying to find out if I was the only "rotten kid" who had his hair pulled regularly by one of the teachers for the most minor of infractions (i.e. not flushing after bathroom time, etc.). And no, I am not looking to start a class action suit or a shoulder to boo-hoo on, I just want to hear about other experiences if any.
