I was verrry close to putting an offer in on a house when I noticed about 1 block away there was a cell tower.

I just listened to someone on the news today say that cell phone usage is bad for pregnant woman, and I think the news will only get more negative with time. Does anyone actually have any information or even opinions?

I know certain towns in Nassau have fought to keep towers away from houses (ie the richer smarter people) but of course in suffolk no such luck.

The house I am looking at is basically 2 blocks south of mantauk in patchogue. So the tower is basically in a business area... but there are people who live in their homes and can throw a stone at it. I am not that close, but i am only about a block or so away.

i wouldnt worry about it. There are towers everywhere. I would much rather have a cell tower, than E/L lines. Even those i wouldnt worry to much about.

I wouldn't worry either unless you don't like a big nasty pole in your backyard.
