Not sure I agree with you on that....
I prefer WJFM's choices..... to mine.... i.e... Herricks / Syosset
But I cannot afford those places.... Hmmm.... so you think I'm less adventurous huh ?.... okay... whatever man !!
That sort of thing , but you gotta be able to afford it.
Crooks
Hmmm.... okay cool.... I personally think thats going to be a skewed result because moving from Mid Island to Queens will usually involve spending more money, unless you compromise on the overall quality of life from where you currently reside.... well you are right in that sense, it will surely be more "adventurous" for sure !!
I'm saying this because usually people will think of atleast moving to a similar place if not better, and most of the moves I guess will be westward ??? I have no data to prove, but its just my guess.

We'll see.
Not always.
Dix Hills to Bayside might be a wash.
People move for different reasons.
The standard LI migratory pattern is generally Eastward over time not West.
note 1: this is keeping everything else constant... a change of work location would provide probably a different set of towns i'd move to.
note 2: the use of 'towns' in note 1 is used as a general reference to an area... i don't need any doctorate thesis posted up with full color maps and clickable links ...
