I lived in the "S" section, on Shelbourne, and can tell you we looked into it. There are lines on Pond Path, and if you get enough people to petition, Keyspand said they would run the lines. I couldn't get enough signatures, lol! There IS a gas line as you enter the section off of Nicolls. When you get to the stop sign, the Eton that is slightly to the left (without shutters) has gas. If you are close enough to that house they could run it but you pay a lot of money per foot, and then have to pay for the plumber to convert, as well as the heating eqipment. Keyspan used to offer free boilers, but I don't think they do that anymore. There is also sewers on 2 streets in that section as well.

I am not sure about the S section. I have gas lines in my neighborhood in SB. I would suggest you call Keyspan to learn if there are line in the S section.

The first 100 ft are free, but you have to pay the plumber to connect.
They usually tell you how far away the line is; that way you'd know approx. how much it would/could cost you.
