Brings new meaning to the slogan "Get the Slomins Shield".

a trouble message?

Back Up battery is low
sensor not working properly(?)

If you still use the system -check the back up battery....If you're not - just disconnect it.

The power to your house was interrupted at some point. Hit function->4->ON/Off (or Enter) Button->Your pin->On/Off button (or Enter). This should do it.

try to check the main system panel not the keypad for the model# of your system
it's a Napco system you got there....If it's the Express model then:

  • 1-6 Zone + Trouble LED
The panel has one or more of the following 3 possible troubles:
    • Zone Short
    • Transmitter Tamper
    • Dual Tech Self Test Fail

The triangle SYSTEM LED and keypad sounder will
continue to flash and beep. To view the next
System Trouble, if any, press the # key.
Continue pressing the # key, if there are no
more system troubles to view, the system will
return to normal operation.

Let me know if it works....

Not sure how your system is setup but this might work.

I have the same exact console in my house. One other possibility (which was an issue I had recently), your battery may be weak/dead. If you weren't aware, the battery is located remotely from the console usually in a discreet location (mine is in a linen closet).

That just happened to me. I called them up and they had to send me a replacement battery. Even though my system is hard wired, the battery was going bad. It beeped like you said, there is a way to turn off the beeping. But to get rid of the warning light, you need to remove the battery. The system still works regardless because you are hard wired. Open the panel and remove the battery. Take it to some hardware store and see if you can get a new one.

It was very easy to do.
