I am relocating from Greensboro, NC to California... I'll have 2 offices one in Pasadena and one in Brea so I figured Glendora is in the middle and I have read great things about the town....

I'll be looking for a house/townhouse to rent $2K - $3K/month...

Can anyone tell me about the Glendora city, schools and neighborhoods?

I have an 8yr old and 10 yr old boys and they are very active... We all love mountain biking, wife plays tennis so any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I will be making a house hunting trip last week of July... I'll need to start renting by first week August...

Thanks in advanced.

Ryan

Default glendora

I live about 1.5 hrs from glendora, but my grandparents and cousins and aunts live there. amazing little city. great schools, people, and NO crime, which is rare for a CA city (especially LA area). Quite small -15,000-20,000 i believe. great access to the mountains and close to Los Angeles. Schools are great also.

Ryan, Glendora is one of the best little towns in So Calif, certainly in the east part of L.A. county. There are other great areas as well, So Pasadena and Arcadia, but Glendora is small town USA in the big city..

The schools are very good, just make sure whatever you rent it is really in the Glendora school district. Some of the southern parts of Glendora are not part of the school district.

We lived there for many years, my husband actually went all the way through school there when Glendora High School didn't exist (that was a heck of a long time ago) our son played baseball for Glendora High School, they always had a great team..

Good luck and enjoy!!!!

Nita

i'd live closer to pasadena, the drive on the 210 headed west in the am can be absolutely terrible. the 57 through brea is no fun either, but the 210 is one of the worst in the region. those are terrible locations to have to split time in between. i would find out which office you'll be spending more time in and proceed from there.
