Hello,
I'm visiting LA and was wondering what are the MUST VISITS in LA. I would also appreciate any tips you have for me and my brother in visiting LA. It will be our first time in California.

THank you!

I have lived here my whole life and I can't think of anything I would want to see. What are your interests? What is your original reason for coming here or are you just coming for it's own sake?

If you have never been here before I would recommend the La Brea tar pits. If they are still there. I went there about 20 years ago and enjoyed it.

The Getty Center or Villa, Griffith Park Observatory, Hollywood Blvd between Highland and Vine, Santa Monica Pier and Promenade, Venice Boardwalk and Canals, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and surrounding area, The Farmer's Market and The Grove (adjacent to each other), and take a drive through the hills and up the coast. I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out but this should be more than enough.

The Huntington Library (San Marino), The Getty Center (Brentwood) and The Getty Villa (Malibu), La Brea tar pits/LACMA/Museum Row (on Wilshire's Miracle Mile), The Museum of Tolerance, The Queen Mary (Long Beach...can take Metro Blue Line) Griffith Observatory, cruise Mulholland Dr. (nice scenery of downtown and valley), PCH (scenic pacific ocean views from Malibu to Palos Verdes Peninsula), President Reagan's Presidential Library (Simi Valley), President Nixon's Presidential Library (Yorba Linda [O.C.]) if you have the cash then visit Universal Studios Hollywood/Universal Citywalk, Six Flags Magic Mountain California, Disneyland/California Adventures (Anaheim [O.C.]) Knott's Berry Farm (Buena Park [O.C.])... if you have time and want to see how lavishly the "haves" live in L.A. visit Hancock Park/Beverly Hills/Bel Air/Holmby Hills/Brentwood/Pacific Palisades/Malibu/Palos Verdes etc...

I am sure I am forgetting stuff. I'll post more later
