Not true. Probably at least a third, maybe more of the Persian population in LA is Jewish. That's one of the main reasons they started emigrating to LA in large numbers in the late 70's and early 80's... that whole Ayatollah Assahola thing.

Persian means that they are decendents of Persia or what became Iran. This was the Persian Empire and not all of them are Muslim.
