I went there briefly in 93 but it was before I went to rehab so I don't remember much.

[quote=Rats;1223844]Pasadena City College is awesome. It's located in a great area, it's one of the top UC feeder schools in the state, and many professors there actually have PhDs.

Glendale College is horrible... to me it felt like I was back in high school. No AC in some rooms, parking is terrible, and not to be racist, but it's full of Armenians who always hang out in their own social cliques and don't speak a word of English.[/QUOTE

Rats, you are not racist. Take it from me. I have been to Sunland and Glendale and Armenians darn near run those towns. They are into their own culture and are not too fond of outsiders or other races (not as bad the Latinos in East LA and San Fernando Valley (and I don't mean just the gang members!))

I went to SMC after high school and transferred to a 4 year college. This was way back in the late 80s early 90s, but I suspect it's still one of the best junior colleges around.

It looks as if the days of a low cost community college have come to an end. $36 per unit? Unbelievable.

That is going to be a shock when it goes up to $36 per unit but still far cheaper than community colleges in other states, which can range from 60+-200+ per unit!
