I am looking for a good bar/club/lounge that is good for mingling esp. with attractive women (say mid-20's to late 30's).

My buddy and I are looking for something interesting in the West LA or Santa Monica area.

Thank you.

What is good one night is not good the next night.

You need to start drinking and hitting everywhere up to find out what is best for you. Its not that hard, just takes time.

Tip well and Yee shall be rewarded.

You are really missing the point entirely.....especially on 2.... I was referring to the bartender.
but I decided I'm not going to try and explain it to you.

Try "Q's" on Wilshire Blvd. Have fun. LOL!

I was just kidding around. Yes, I understand what you meant about the bartenders.

Thanks for the tips.

Q's as mentioned is good if you are looking for the college bar atmosphere, as are the other bars in the immediate vicinity. I've been a big fan lately of Mom's Bar on Santa Monica Blvd a block or 2 west of Bundy.

i like the main st area of santa monica. once you find parking, you've got 7 or 8 places to choose from all within a few blocks of eachother.

I agree about Main St in Santa Monica. Very clean, safe, great singles scene for younger professional types. Decent selections like Circle Bar, Finn McCool's, O'Brien's, World Cafe

Along Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica and WLA are some good bars. Most aren't walking distance from each other but it's no more than a mile or two away. You have Sonny McLean's, The Gaslite, South, Busby's (well that's Santa Monica Blvd, but right next door), Q's, Cabo Cantina.

For the most part the main st scene and the wilshire blvd scene should cover your needs, but you can also venture out into Westwood Village, the 3rd St Promenade, Abbot Kinney/Lincoln Blvd

if u want something a bit classier than Sonny's or the Library, check out any of the hotel lounges like the Viceroy or Huntley. The ladies are fiiiiine -- but u gotta step up your game too
