Is there anyone that just works in L.A., or if self-employed, has clients based in L.A., that lives in either the Bay Area or Sacramento Region? Basically, you have the type of job or business that allows you to maybe travel to L.A. strictly to work or conduct business. You earn your living in L.A. but your home is the Bay or Sac. You live in Sacramento because its affordable, but earn your living in L.A. because thats where the opportunities are; something like that. How do you make such a lifestyle possible? Hope that makes sense. If not let me know. I'll try to explain it a different way. Thanks.

Ahnold did it, but I don't know why any sane person would.

But, I personally might be about to eat my own words (but not LA or CA related).

I used to do this but I was able to charge / write off lodging and flights. I was single, and young. I had lived in the Southland previously, not all that long before, making it really easy in terms of knowing my way around. Eventually the activity I was managing dried up and moved overseas, so much for that.
