I may potentially be moving to LA for at least the summer for an internship but I don't know anything about neighborhoods. Where should I look for housing?
Criteria are:
- within 30 min commute of the 110 near Wilshire (including traffic)
- not a scary neighborhood (I know different people have different standards for this, but I want to feel safe walking by myself at night and I'm not very good at martial arts)
- temporary summer sublet and/or month-to-month. I'm sure I can find this anywhere if I look hard enough, but maybe some neighborhoods (near USC?) may have a greater availability

Right next door to the Omni Hotel (take advantage of their Sunday brunch) and directly above MOCA (free to visit on Thursdays)! Disney Concert Hall, Ahmanson Theatre, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion are all across the street. In the heart of the Old Banking District and a few minutes from Staples Center, Nokia Live, Grammy Museum and of all the other amazing things DT LA has to offer; China Town, Fashion District, etc! Amazing courtyard with breathtaking views of the high rise buildings and Grand Street (where so may car commercials and movies are filmed)!
