I really want to move to LA right now for my career and live my life so I can be away from my parents but I thought that the smartest thing is to stay home and get my degree in TV Production. I want to be a aspiring Casting Director or at least get into the Casting and Pre -production, research scouting, I like to look for things and I like to look if someone has talent or not! : )
To be a Casting Director its not necessary to get a college degree but it will still help you out, so I thought just go ahead and continue to get the degree!

As of right now I have a little over $5,000, right now I do have a job and now going back to school, hopefully I should get my degree by 2014, so from now until then Would I have enough money to move to LA by 2014, most likely 98% I would need another job to support myself while interning there!

I know that the job market is VERY competitive, but any job is competitive to get into, but I will do whatever it takes to be what I want to be! And I dont care what people have to say negative things, Im still doing it!

If I do have enough to live on my own I would only want a nice studio apartment NOT to fancy, and I dont have to live in Hollywood or Santa Monica, but not South Central either! lol And Im pretty frugal with my money, I like to get the best deal as I can!

If I dont have enough to live on my own for awhile I'll live with a roommate it wont save me alot of money but they could help out with the rent!

Keep saving as much as possible. My daughter is in that industry and had to intern for 2 years while in school. Basically it's about the connections you make and how hard you work. Not an impossible dream but I suggest you have as much saved as you can so that you are not so desperate that you have to give up your dreams to just survive.

You'll be fine. You already have a good start for savings, and you still have two years.

Try and get a summer intern in LA while you are still in school. Sent out resumes to every studio you can think of. They should pay for relocation.

You stand a better chance by staying where you are and work for a local TV station. Work your way up and then get a contract with a company in LA. Living costs in LA will eat you up.
