How long does it take Wells Fargo to foreclose on a house? I had a bankruptcy discharged in August of 2010 and my 1st and 2nd Trust Deeds were included in the BK (Chapter 7). I never re-affirmed either loan and have fallen 2 months behind on the 1st. I am considering just giving up the house and didn't want to disrupt my kids living arrangement until school was out for the summer or longer. Are there some different tactics to prolong the eviction? I am not considering a short sale since everything is included in the BK and the banks cannot come after me. I am going to rent for a few years and try again with my VA Loan when my credit gets better. Thanks in advance for any comments.

you can try to find a local group that helps with loan modifications. "neighbor works" is the one we have here that might be a national group. i'd call your bankruptcy attorney and ask about options. i'm sure foreclosure times vary due to a lot of things.
