You must be relieved you weren't there. I guess you could say you dodged a bullet (literally).

It was clearly a hit. They went in hard and fast and burned that cabin down to the ground.

Of course, that's what happens when you shoot gang members. Their buddies get you back. Oh, I mean cops. Cops, not gang members...
How many LAPD uniforms did you count?

I hope that it is true that this S.O.B. has perished and it was indeed his body that they recovered. However, with all of the conflicting reports, I am not 100% sure that they even have the right guy; if they do have a body, it could be the body of an imitator. Lots of sick people out there anymore that idolize guys like Dorner and end up becoming copy-cat killers.

Reading this thread youd think it was 100AD and we were just at the Colosseum watching gladitor games..

Thinking about it I guess we were.

Amazing how little we humans have changed in 2000 years.

Well at least back then they didn't pretend, they just held games to kill people for entertainment.

No joke we haven't changed!

We have democratically elected people like Obama, Bush, and Hitler in the past century alone.

You make a good point, Bulldogdad. We really haven't evolved very much have we? And now we can reach more people via the net. Used to be we'd just hang over the back fence and talk.

And share a beer. Damn I miss the 70's and 80's.

I remember when OJ was running from the law several of the neighbors came over as I had the biggest TV on the block a 40inch tube. DAMN that thing weighed a ton. I got the grill going and we cooked burgers and had a few beers watching the whole drama.

Hell I'm lucky if my neighbors now even come out to mow their lawns. Most of them have Juan or Yao Ming cutting it.

Yeah, I watched the white Bronco drama on the freeway that day, too. I happened to be in the backyard, (doing my own yard work, btw) and I heard the neighbor hollering, "Go OJ, Go!" I went inside and turned on the TV to watch the drama. You, on the other hand, made it a party!!!

We just love to watch some other fool in trouble, don't we?
