Greetings....hoping to get a suggestion for a hassle-free mountain bike rental company somewhere in the area between and including the valley and LAX....this would be a rental for a couple or three full days starting this Saturday....would need a flat repair kit and tubes to go with it.....

I looked at yelp and all that, but a little hard to navigate those sites and get full lists of companies....

thanks for your suggestions....

Bike, Segway & Equip Rentals | Santa Monica Bike Center
Wheelworld in woodland hills does demo it is a little pricery

I'd also carry a chain tool for mountain biking. IF you don't know how to use it , hopefully some you run into does. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater

I ran into this couple walking their bike down a mountain. Their really nice bikes were also as good as the weakest link, sorry for the pun. I fixed his chain to at least get him back to the rental shop, probably save him and his wife a couple of hour hike.

thanks for the suggestions.....according to Helen's, they don't currently rent mountain bikes or something....Topanga was a bit out of the way (and pricey-sounding for our purposes), so I yelped and googled around and found Bicycle Ambulance on Lincoln in SM.....nice, very casual place run by Jamaicans.....good bikes and very easy to rent there....only $20/day/bike and they gave us extra goodies w/o charge to return if not used....

appreciate the advice
