Adrienne Barberi(sp?) was the one that shocked me the most.

Her attire was something from that ROCK OF LOVE show. Not only that, I hated her voice. I hated how she interrupted people and had nothing useful to say and she always appeared like she was on some type of uppers.

After she had her baby, she toned down her look, got rid of the blonde hair, but she was still a boring airhead. I didn't watch the show all the time. As a matter of fact, I stopped watching it in the morning, because of her and the other idiot who faked laugh all the time.

And I agree that most of the women in LA dressed skanky like her. The clothing choices were culture shock, because coming from NYC only prostitutes dressed that way.

Her name is Jillian Barberie. She is very annoying and no longer on a newscast.

Most women in LA do NOT dress like Jillian Barberie. That is a gross generalization that needs to stop.

eta: I've seen plenty of skank in NYC, so please don't tell me that most women dress like Audrey Hepburn because that is far from the truth.

While my eyes have to agree with this, the old school science geek in me prefers a Dr. George or WGN's Tom Skilling. If only Jackie would get all scientific, she'd be perfect.

I don't know what part of "new york" you were in, but please believe that women here would LOVE to dress like skanky LA women, but the reason we don't is because the men in the city act like the just got out of prison. Too much thigh, cleavage or belly shirt with shorts/pants only draws problems.

Manhattan is probably safer than the outerboroughs.

My husband comments on this everytime we travel to the area to visit my parents. I notice it too. The women on the news here in Denver do not dress that way at all!!

Watching the weather reports is among the best reasons to tune in to local news broadcasts.

L.A. is where weather ladies go to become famous.

Evelyn Taft is great as well.

Informative and entertaining.

Harrier thinks that you should become better informed about weather forecasters.

Perhaps this will help.
