So there has been this long misunderstanding that the LA CSA is over 30,000 sq miles, this number by all means does not represent the land area that is actually populated, I have done a rough estimate that the grand majority of the 18 million lives in about 6000-7000 sq miles by measuring a map, however i know that's not the most accurate number, does anyone know the true land size of the population?

Find the populations of all the urbanized areas and urban clusters in LA, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ventura counties.

Thats what I did and did a rough guesstimate, but I was wondering if anyone has a more accurate number.
