Well, what do you think? Could this be the beginning of more land purchases and the moving of the Rams back to LA? Or is this just a ploy to get St Louis to build a new stadium? Interesting in deed.

Wow! How about them apples. I wonder how the St.Louis group will try to spin this one.

Interesting indeed.

An NFL stadium would be good for Inglewood and the surrounding area. I hope it happens. Let's just hope that Inglewood cronies don't mess it up.

This is interesting . Definately seems like a lot happening in inglewood . The hollywood park project and renovated forum .

I'm sure Madison sq garden is pretty pissed that they lost out on buying the land . That's a huge piece of land .

I'm guess that's even if he doesn't do anything with it he figures he could probably flip it for a profit especially once the hollywood park project is built .

Possible he got a great deal too considering he was on Walmart board and he bought it from Walmart .

How long is it going to take the NFL to realize that theyre losing money by not exploiting that market with a franchise. Done right, that market is a goldmine. Kroenke would make a helluva more money in this market than in St. Louis, if he moved the Rams there.

Until a team relocates to this market.

The NFL will certainly be a gold mine here. LA as a sports town has improved dramatically since 80's and even the 90's. The stereotypes still exist and it will take a while for that to go away.

Every team here does well with attendance and money, except for Chivas USA which is a joke of a franchise anyway. They need to rebrand, get their own stadium and call themselves something LA related.

Even the Clippers, with how horribly they have been historically have always made money and had good attendance numbers here.

The only thing that has kept us from an NFL team has been a state of the art stadium. That's it. If we were to start building one today, teams would be lining up, but the financing part has always been messy.

If this happens, what are the odds Inglewood becomes part of the 'westside' within 10 years?

Inglewood- up to no good!

I won't get excited yet. There's a good chance that the Rams owner is just setting STL up for the old sqeezeroonie...
