Hi I'm entertaining a job offer with Kaiser on Sunset and husband will be working from home. I've been reading threads about Los Feliz and Silver Lake but still need some direction.

Budget is $2000/month. Would prefer something with a little more square footage since husband will be working from home in a full house with a nanny and 2 toddlers until we can get plugged into a daycare. I have no idea if the transition to daycare will realistically occur due to my child's medical issues, however.

We have 2 cars but have been seriously considering selling one instead of shipping both across the country. So at this point metro and walking to work both still viable options.

Looking for a rental as we will be in LA for about 2 years. Even though school system not an issue we don't want to live in a shady, unsafe area with cheaper rents because of poor schools. Safety is definitely our top priority.

Thanks in advance

Your budget may be too low for what you are describing. One of my son's in in a two-bedroom courtyard 900 sq ft home and he's paying $2200 in Los Feliz.
