If a person is out in the street with no home and no money, how could they get a new start in Santa Monica? Where should they stay? What kind of jobs could they find quickly?

Is it dangerous to be temporarily homeless in Santa Monica?

Santa Monica is the most expensive part of LA County to live in so I can't imagine it's the best place to get started from scratch.

At the same time, Santa Monica is the homeless capital of LA County so it's not a bad place to be homeless. Great weather and lots of city/private services, company.

Really now? Is this just a snarky comment or is this factually true? I have my doubts Santa Monica > Skid Row.

I live in Santa Monica and I think we already have enough homeless. Please don't come here unless you have something to contribute.

Skid Row might have more but since homeless are transient we don't know for sure. There are a lot of hoemless in santa monica.

Ignore this comment! OP, there's a nice patch of grass next to the Pier entrance with your name on it.

Hollywood also has more homeless. Easily.

The answer to the OPs question: terrible idea, unless you're young and good looking and prepared to sell your b**t.
