We are looking at rentals in Air b and b, and my son and I would like 2 separate rooms. I see there is availability galore. Has the recession hit PS?
is a downtown area like most cities with the usual city churches, courthouses, stores, etc. All is see on the pictures are desert sites.
Is there a 50s area where movie stars lived? I remember seeing this somewhere...
Is there a visitors area to see downtown? is it safe? What streets are considered downtown? Are there any city parks?
On the front page of PS on this site, it showed a waterfall? Where is that at?

Yes, Palm Springs is very safe. The downtown area is along Palm Canyon Drive. You can walk there but the "downtown/walkable" portion is only a few blocks long. Don't know what the waterfall is....

P.S. is located in Riverside County, not LA. So you might want to post a thread in Inland Empire forum to get more replies.
