This post smells a bit like a troll post… Just simply due to the first posters too naive to be true questions. I would suggest you will be eaten alive in Los Angeles, if you do make the move, good luck.

For someone who will be flying a lot and working out of DTLA, would Marina Del Ray or Culver City fit the bill? I don't know those areas too well, but the location seems ideal.

A 1200 apt is not a better life than a 3000 apt.
