It's a very cold night, as was last night. However, I'm not complaining too very much, because all the homeless people in my neighborhood have gone to the shelter at the army reserve center by the VA. Buh bye...now you can be somebody else's PITA.

I do hope, though, that my trees and plants don't get damaged by this cold. We went from fairly high temps to low temps in a very short period of time, so I hope these extreme temperatures don't do too much damage to everybody's trees and plants. Those heat waves made a mess out of my little plants especially, and now there's this.

It's 34 degrees now. Brrrrrr is right!

I'm going to Mammoth at the end of next week. It's 15 degrees there right now, and they're looking at a "high" of 27 today!!! Great for skiing and the snow pack, but I think I'll be seeing the snow and enjoying the cold mostly from the inside of my car!

Speaking of homeless bums, are east coast bums more prone to cold? Or They just spend alot more time in shelters than LA bums?

Although i love California weather, i hate how the crazies can also take advantage of it and be on the streets like it's their backyard.

They spend more time in shelters, remember 32 is cold to all of you in southern CA; to people in the east 32 is a nice balmy day in the winter. Well maybe I am exaggerating a little, but those in the east do have more shelters, plus, due to your nicer weather you may have more street people than some parts of the country.

I was just in Oregon, the MAX from Portland airport through Portland to Beaverton, the cheapest ticket was good for a couple of hours to keep the filth from riding all day.
