I live in Omaha and dream of living in a big warm city.....i can't get the dream out of my head....it will not happen for a long time....help me see the realistic side...what are the cons? Maybe hearing the realistic side would help...

Try a city in the Midwest that is better than Omaha for starters.. That will go a long way.

You can't eat warm weather. If you relocate, the city has to have more to offer than weather, such as a decent job.

OP: Median home price in Omaha is about $150,000. Los Angeles is about $500,000.
