A truely debatable thread. I can see more people walking if those 6 lane streets would turn into 2 lanes!

How does making a street unidirectional reduce the total number of lanes?

easiest routes north and south through downtown are on the one way streets. Flower and Spring heading south, 9th and 4TH heading east, main heading north, and 8th heading west. 5th and 6th can be bad though.

The two way streets are hideous. 7th, Hill, and Broadway are the absolute worst. Honestly at this point, considering its down to one lane each way, people who drive on Broadway are borderline braindead.

Stick to going to RAGE and refrain from embarrassing yourself.

One way streets are far superior to 2 way streets.

They flow far better and faster. Left turns from 2 way streets are a disaster, specially if there is no left turn lane.

Have you driven through Melrose? LMAO
