Today wasn't bad -- had a nice afternoon in the sun. I didn't make it to the beach, but I did go for a nice walk after putting on sun block.

Intentionally trying to make us jealous?

I've been enjoying this beautiful weather. It was really wonderful over the weekend. It felt nice to pull out my shades.

It's nice weather but this stretch of heat is much too long for February! I can't remember it being this hot for this long in February ever. It is supposed to stay this hot or hotter for another week. We are around 20 degrees above normal in my area.

Weekend weather was heavenly. That's what I came for. Perfect weather in January. The only thing I'm not liking is this "heat wave" hitting us this week. It's going to approach 90 in the valley. 86 for the high where I'm at.

I got out to the beach briefly after work. Not crowded, but the weather was outstanding. The water was, of course, still very cold. It's supposed to remain nice throughout the week.

Was it clear enough to see Andromeda or the Orion Nebula?
