Misery Measure 632

In sunny L.A., the weather is almost perfect. Everything else, not so perfect. If you are not stuck in traffic or forking over your earnings to put a dent in the state's massive budget deficit, chances are, you are choking on the city's polluted air.

Ranks are based on the 150 largest metro areas.

I honestly don't rely on those rankings...I've lived in L.A before and continue to visit the place, and trust me L.A is not that bad, their are much worst places in other parts of the Country and in other parts of the World.

Default Misery is too much work!

Honestly, who and exactly what are they polling when these surveys are taken? I suppose if you tend to be somewhat of a troll LA would be a miserable place.

Life is full of daily personal choices. I for one, as a resident of LA County, CHOOSE to be happy! It takes so much more energy to be miserable.

A little food for thought:

At my children's school their principal ends her daily morning message to the students (broadcasted over the PA system) like this: "Make it a great day, or not, the choice is up to you."

I've lived all over the place and have come home to L.A. for good. This is the least miserable place I've ever been.

After living and visiting a number of places in the country myself, I have to agree. Enjoy your reputation point!
