I don't live in LA but I am a LA Ram fan. I was just wondering if anyone could post on what the status is on the Rams eventual home stadium in Inglewood. Last I heard there was a lot of bulldozers and soil being moved, but is there any construction going on yet???

That movement has been going on for months as Hollywood Park was torn down. Whatever is going on seems to be undergrunderground and not visible to someone without any knowledge like me

So there still in the civil work stage. Nothing in the air yet. I can't wait to see something that resembles a football stadium, hopefully by the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Thanks!

The playing field is supposed to be 100 feet below ground, so there's probably going to be a lot of excavation before anything major goes up. However, when I passed by the construction site a few months ago, I noticed a new parking structure that wasn't there last year.
Construction is underway at Hollywood Park site -- LA Times

Any updates on whether the actual structure to the stadium has even started? Or are they still just moving dirt?

Does cutting Nick Foles count as "moving dirt?"

I live down the street from the stadium site. So far nothing yet. They did just recently choose the construction team, so activity should follow soon. I've heard the mayor say construction should begin in August. We will see if that happens.

The only real construction that has happened on the site is for the new Hollywood casino and it's parking structure. I think the old casino will be demolished.
