Can two bad football teams survive in LA? I think this is a bad move. Rams at least have a fan base here and chargers are generally hated here. Sure some will come from San Diego and remain fans but they are destroying their SD fanbase by coming here. I predict this won't end well.

Then again, if they can manage to win when while the Rams continue to suck, people's attitudes towards them could change quickly. And where will they play until the new stadium is built? I've heard the Rose Bowl isn't interested in the NFL.

Maybe the Chargers and Rams can merge, leaving LA with one mediocre team instead of two bad teams.

Judging by ratings nobody will care about the NFL by the time the stadium is built

Go Chargers.......and take the Padres with you.

The Chargers had one of the highest number of black outs and near black outs of any team. Good thing they lifted the black out policy.

Have fun!

Right. As I've said many times, SD has the worst fanbase in professional sports.

I think the only hope for this move is a complete re-branding of the team. Going to have to drop Chargers and hope people forget they used to be the Chargers lol

Not a good move. And I'm pretty sure Rivers will be looking to leave if the Chargers move there, which means the team will take a definite dive. He has previously indicated that he would not be fond of moving to LA as he likes the setup in SD for his large family. I could see Rivers looking to head back to his Alabama roots and try to find a QB position for a team in the south/southeast.

That's easy to do when the team sucks and there are so many other things to do besides spending money to watch a team lose.
