Out of curiosity, what did you end up deciding on doing? Also - was it the mid-mod style that you liked or the views? I know we've been crazy low inventory lately... but hopefully we'll start to see some more activity now that we're getting into summer. Statistically, those are our busiest months for people moving. I suspect you'll find more of the mid-mod style within your budget on the Sherman Oaks side than the Hollywood Hills if that helps in solidifying your search a bit.

BTW, that house on Oakfield is still pending... if you want I can reach out to Carol and see if something's going on with their escrow to delay it. Maybe it's finicky. You should also check into this one on Beverly Glen. http://matrix.crmls.org/DE.asp?k=307...-384009001-679
