Lavar Ball denies Trump had much of a role in releasing these three.

Maybe Trump should have left them there to rot in a Chinese prison.

These guys were not busted for stealing candy bars. They stole upwards of $20,000. in merchandise from upscale stores in, of all places, China. They would be doing a long sentence; so I'm not sure just expelling them from the basketball team is enough. Hell, they are only suspended.

Now, LaVar Ball, the father of one of these thieves is criticizing and downplaying Trump's role in getting his son out of a Chinese prison. Pretty amazing the gall of this ''father''; practice being a father first so your kid doesn't end up in a foreign penal system. Ungrateful and a disgrace. No surprise though given LaVar Ball's history and media platform he's provided. Time to take that away now. We know he doesn't like white folk, wonder what he thinks of the Chinese?

We all know these players wouldn't be doing time in the U.S.

The criminals are their sympathizers are taking over.

Well in CA shoplifting is basically no punishment...thanks to our wonderful laws.

About a half-dozen times this year, shoplifters have stolen expensive drones or another of the remote-controlled toys he sells in HobbyTown USA, a small shop in Rocklin, northeast of Sacramento. “It’s just pretty much open season,” Lutz said. “They’ll pick the $800 unit and just grab it and run out the door.”
Anything below $950 keeps the crime a misdemeanor — and likely means the thieves face no pursuit and no punishment, say retailers and law enforcement officials. Large retailers including Safeway, Target, Rite Aid and CVS pharmacies say shoplifting increased at least 15 percent, and in some cases, doubled since voters approved Proposition 47 and ended the possibility of charging shoplifting as a felony with the potential for a prison sentence.

Guess it would be a sin to actually acknowledge the President helped them.

But if Obama had done it...

Next they'll say Trump didn't have anything to do with the building of the border wall.

I am glad Trump got them back here so we won't be hearing about these poor players in prison for only shoplifting but I agree they should have been allowed to rot in prison. Ungrateful swine! Maybe they need to learn justice is for everybody. Obama let so many be so abused by other countries. He didn't care about people who did not look like him. Racist pig!

Having worked twice in China, I know that laws there are much stiffer than the USA. So those basketball players should be grateful that the American President helped get them out instead serving a long sentence in a Chinese prison.
