I just moved to L.A 3 weeks ago. I went to the Westfield mall in Culver City yesterday. I stopped at the Chevron for gas and cigarettes. Supreme was selling for $3.99/gallon. My cigarettes cost $12.00. The same day I travel just a few miles east to the Baldwin Hills mall on Crenshaw. The Chevron there was selling supreme for $3.53/gallon! Out of curiosity I stopped there and went into the market and asked for the price of the same brand cigarettes I bought. It was $9.21 for the same brand cigarettes!

What the hell??? Is Culver City an uber rich neighborhood so they jack up the prices for everything there?

Real estate cost are higher in Culver City, being on the other side of the historic white flight line which reflects in the gasoline/convenience store price differences. The freeway off ramps and interchange might also allow for higher prices as people attempt to fill up before hitting the 405 freeway

Definitely . Also gas stations make little profit on the gas , the profit is in the mini mart.
