Just go to any general practioner and tell them you want to be snipped. Because of your age they will say something. Live with it. Some may refuse to do it, but may also face a lawsuit so they probably will go forward and do it. Live with that too.

If you are going to do anything different in this life other than the status quo you need to have the gonads (or not in your case :-) to deal with people getting up in your grill, denying you, or challenging you. People that do not want the gift of children shouldn't have them. Simple. If you wanted this 'operation' that bad, without reservation, you would have already done it without publishing it to the world--literally.

Glad too you are clear about what you want and won't waste a lot of young women's time that want children. A lot of guys say they don't want children and they either populate the world (not sticking around to raise the little kids) or lead women on (that want a child) that do not believe them. Atleast your actions and words are syncing up. Now get some round ones and be off.

The best thing you can do for your peace of mind and not waste time, is to be honest and tell whomever you are dating up front that you have had the procedure. Not ob the first date but if things are going somewhere. There are like minded women but they are going to be hard to find. You'll have better luck with older women.

Don't worry. If you really feel strongly and follow through with this, the right person(s) at the right time(s), will come into your life. It is nature's intervention for women to feel as though they want children. It is rare that they do not, although more and more women as they get older--even if they do not want them when they are younger--change their mind either because of hormones or because of life experience shifting their perspective (one way or the other).

As a male it is less likely you will change you mind, unless you fall in love one day and badly want to have a mini you and her (more likely the woman would want that given your clarity now and how women are raised to see this as the fulfillment of love and dreams, as well as the hormones screaming for a child inside them whether they want one or not.) Woman have a hormonal drive to have children that is much more powerful than the man generally speaking. You will learn to live with that reality too. Many a woman wants children when they are young and find that it doesn't work out (and visa versa) and learn to enjoy life.

You will learn that life takes its own direction and even though there are natural drives sh-t happens and life takes renewed and interesting twists and turns. So don't sweat where women's heads are at too much. It will drive any man crazy (this is coming from a woman--lol.) Just be up front and honest and the rest will take care of itself. If a woman falls in love with you it may take her time to process whether she could live with this or not. She may even go back and forth for awhile before making a final decision or never fully decide, but find a way to live with it. Or you may find someone who feels the exact same way as you. Atleast you are clear about what you want here.

From my recollection, LA Weekly has some resources for vasectomies in their adverts also.

Now, if I was in a long term relationship with a girl who didn't want kids, but then changed her mind and hasn't changed back, I would be forced to break the relationship.
