Best socks on earth? Go to the corporate website to find your local Snap-On tool guy. These socks are 3x thicker than any supermarket socks and they last forever (as long as you wash them in regular, non-bleach laundry. Bleach kills elastic).

I thought my buddy was full of $hit since he is a Snap-On Tool guy. Until he gave me a pair. Wow! Totally worth he $5 or $6 bucks a pair. $50 bucks and I've got crew and tubes to last me a decade!

Hope this helps

Why must you buy socks in person? Why not shop online? Amazon and Walmart sell socks online. I think Staples, CVS, Rite Aid, etc. also sell socks online.

I've been buying most things online since the 2000s. I joined Amazon in 1998. Clothes, shoes, vitamins, whatever. I'm like KFI's John Kobylt -- I hate shopping in person.

Stores here in California were bullied in closing off non-essential aisles? That's news to me. I've mostly been to Sam's Club and Ralph's since this essential/non-essential stuff started and the Sam's Clubs (I've gone to multiple ones) have never had their non-essential aisles closed off. There were always people in the clothes and electronics sections buying stuff.

Sounds silly, but try Macys online. I needed some new bed sheets, so I went to their site. Everything was about 60% off. Got some nice Gold Toe socks for $ 11.99 for 8 pairs reduced from $ 24.99 .

If you go to Costco, try to go during a weekday mid-day. The lines are shorter. The long lines can be deceiving because they go fast. I’ve been in what looked like a long line and got inside in 5 min. Weekends are insane and I stay away for now. I got gas yesterday and people had already formed a line to get into the warehouse at 7:30am. That was San Diego so it may be different where you are.
Costco sells Hanes brand socks?

Well, I'd rather not get overly thick socks, because then I'd need all new shoes and slippers too.

Socks are left and right? Do you buy the ones with the built in toes?

They did the last time I bought white athletic socks a couple of months ago. I haven’t looked lately and things sometimes come and go.
