If you have a problem with that, maybe you should keep your responses relevant, rather than just writing random ****.

It's not that far from things. It's close to Knott's Berry Farm and the beach. It's on Valley View Boulevard in Buena Park.

That is so far out of the area the OP is looking for it almost comes across as you making a joke.

I looked. There are many $70-90 motels in South LA. For example, on Century Blvd.

They are not very far from the beaches.
You can say that the area is sketchy. I would say there are not as many homeless as in Hollywood.

What do you expect from hotels that haven't been renovated since the 60s?

Other motels on Santa Monica Blvd: "Alta Cienega Motel", "Holloway Motel"...
It seems many haven't survived Covid and have been bought to be demolished.
Thanks.

And I had no idea their commission was so high.

From an IE perspective, Buena Park is West L.A.

So is Whittier.

There's no such thing as "West L.A. from an IE perspective". There's West L.A. and there are a lot of places that are not West L.A.; guess in which bucket BP and Whittier fall? OP wasn't looking for a hotel in a location that is "west of something", he was looking for specific locales.
