Dang...I can't believe you guys actually cared about me...well at least remembered. LOL

But no. I'm gonna be a junior next year but I'm taking a class at UCLA and I work 3 nights a week so...

If anyone is in the area, come in on a Monday, Tuesday, or Saturday night after 3pm. The restaurant is Cantilini's Salerno Beach on Culver Blvd. and Vista Del Mar in downtown PDR next to The Shack. I'm gonna be out for the next two weeks though because I'm visiting family in Upstate NY.

well, good for you! i took a couple college classes during the summer before my senior year, and really enjoyed the experience. it was also a big confidence-booster, because i proved to myself that i could handle college-level work. i hope you have a similarly positive experience.

i drove through downtown PDR during the july 4th weekend, and wondered to myself why i don't get out that way more often. how's the food where you work?

Yeah. PDR is great. Definitely a hidden gem. Never really that busy...

Except for where I work. Weekends are packed with up to 1.5 hour waits. I have heard NYers tell me the food is great (it's Italian).

My father on the other hand was asleep, and thought that he heard something rattling, but didn't feel like getting up to check it out. In his words, "If it turned out to be a burgler, I would just let your mom deal with it. The [criminal] would be much more afraid of her than me!" Gotta love the folks! For the most part though, he is right!!
