My boyfriend for his age has accomplished so much already. And it is a flattering gesture that he wants to make me partner. I guess I should consider myself in a very lucky position that my BF wants to do this with me.
My advice for what its worth:-
1. Get married.
2. Have Kids.
3 Calm Down and Spend..Spend..Spend!!

Why would you never have this opportunity again? You never know what life has to offer. If you do go to school, you'll leave yourself open to unlimited opportunities, including making your own money, which if you work in the financial world could easily equal or surpass what your boyfriend is offering you. Yes, going in with your boyfriend would be the easy way, but what happens in ten years if it doesn't work? The older you get, the harder it is to start over. You know it seems to you that your boyfriend has accomplished a lot, but he really hasn't, his parents have. He had an already successful business handed to him. His accomplishments are just beginning.

If the information has been posted anonymously as you say, then what's the big deal? Hairloom, whether you'd like to say or not in this thread is solely your decision. However, I think that what timelesschild was getting at was protecting private information., as city-data forum search strings can be found through google searches.

If you want to know so badly send a DM. I wouldn't give out such personal information in a public forum.

Listen, NEVER make a life decision because of some one else! If YOUR dream is to go to NYU, then go. Do not live life with regrets...New York is an AWESOME experience for anyone! I went to "Columbia" and would not trade the experience for anything. The good thing about NYC is that it teaches you the REAL business world, the grittiness to it! CALI can be a little too fluffy...put it this way - With a NYU degree you can def survive in SoCal, but with a UCLA degree it may be little harder to survive in NYC. If your boyfriend loves you he will make it work. CR#@, he makes 600K a year...that is more than enough to come visit you and vice-versa! Tell him to man-up!

how many people you know that make 350,000 dollars a year in their early 20's? not many people get that opportunity offered.

Hairloom1 if I was you I'd stay with your boyfriend in California with your financial reasoning you could open your own business in New York City latter on, it is already a set in business in Cali (I don't see why not). Especially since you're getting a degree in Marketing AND if you'll be making over 300,000 gross you can easily open your continuance business in New York City. Sounds more logical doesn't it.

I'm sure with your Future gross it can be accomplished in your MID-twenties. So really its a win-win situation. I would say.

Stilldirrty -- that has crossed my mind. I think that is a possible situation in my case. Thankfully when I graduate I won't have any student loans or credit loans. Via scholarships, FAFSA, and my parents are paying everything off.

So yes, if I do make a partnership I can always expand the business to New York State. My boyfriend and I where talking about it yesterday to expand it to the East Coast.
I think that is a great opportunity to do that. (I can always expand BUsiness Opportunities to New York State)
(Looks like more research is on my hands Lol) Thank you (rep +)
