An old friend of mine, as it turns out, lives in Orange. I'm going to be driving down there to see her in a little while... What is the best route to take?

101 to the 5
134 to the 5

or should I use the 210 or 10 to get down there...? I'm just looking for the quickest route.

what time of the day? you may also consider 134 to the 210 to the 57 south. check www.sigalert.com before you leave.

It's going to be tomorrow... (yea I know, Friday traffic) She gets off work at 5:30; so I figure if I leave at 4:30 I might get there in an hour... It'll probably take longer I guess. After driving the 101 today to downtown, I'm definitely gonna skip that route.

I like that 210 to the 57 idea.

the 5 isn't any better, but neither is the 210 through Pasadena. I used to commute from the valley to Anaheim everyday, and I would usually take the 5 to the 710 to the 91. In your case, you would take the 710 to the 405 to the 22. You could also use the 605 instead of the 710. I would definitely get off the 5 though because it is only 3 lanes each direction until the Orange County line and is veeeeeerrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy slow.
