I just think it is the shame that they did not care enough about it. Hollywood is not that big at all and it is just a tourist attraction for Americans and for people around the world and I jsut think they did a very bad job.

The movie studios moved and there isn't really any reason to turn it into what people THINK it is if it never really was. It's not like it was nice and glamorous and went downhill. It was always somewhat seedy and run-down - in fact as another poster said it has gotten better. I've seen it improve ALOT in the past 4 years that I've lived here.
