Bell is nicer then it's surrounding neighbors, BUT I wouldn't say that means it's Okay. Remember that it's a small city, people in cities next to each other do mingle.

not so much, but a kid was killed after a pickup game of bkball at bell high about 2 weeks ago. maybe 3. he was 18 y/o, a former student. he got shot on one of the outdoor courts and ran into the gym where collapsed in a pool of blood in front of the 9 to 13 y/o bkball league players. pretty traumatic for those kids to see something like that.

but that might have been the only homicide in bell all year. 1 to 2 homicides a year in a city of about 40K aint that bad. and thats usually an indicator of gangs.
as is grafitti. if there is a lot of graffitti, there are a LOT of groups tryin to claim that territory.

did you see a lot of graf when you were in bell?

I have recently visited California the August that just passed. I went all over L.A and Southern California but I stood at my family's house in Bell California. I think the area is quite nice and quiet. My cousin tells me it is dangerous. really? My cousins said other stuff too. Can anyone describe the area for me?
What kind of area is Bell? Thanks dudes you guys rock!
Listen to your cousins on this one. I wouldn't let my dog walk through Bell or Vernon.
