Where are the best places to live if you are a muscian seeking to start a heavy metal band? Are there any good paying gigs singing karaoke or acoustic jamming? Thanks for any advice u have

There is no one place to live or a special place where all musicians live. You live where you are happy or can afford to live. Gigs and shows are all over the city, either way you gotta get in your car and travel.

Hey ! As mentioned in your other thread definately the West side, or possibly Los Feliz/Atwater/Silverlake. Very ecclectic there, mix of people, lots of small venues, punksters, etc.

I know a lot of musicians who live in the Valley.
The rent is usually cheaper here, and there are a lot of recording studios in the Valley too.
