In looking for a room for rent....how far in advance do people usually want to set up this arrangment. I tried to call someone yesterday but for him 1 month in advance was too far because he wanted to rent it right away. Should I wait til 2 weeks out or what?

I would go ahead and keep calling places. Empty units they will want to rent out ASAP, but some may have a 30-day notice from tenants.

I am looking for a student or woman that is employeed. Condo is near 2 freeways, 2 Jr. Colleges, 2 shopping malls. 10 miles to beach, 20 min. LAX.
I have a room & bath, internet connection, patio. The condo has laundry, jaccuzi, & pool.... security parking for 1 vehicle. Cleaning woman once a month.
