I've wanted to go to El Tepeyac for the longest time! Haven't gotten around to it yet..however, I can vouch for jdavid about The Burrito Factory and the Mucho Macho but it's only my 3rd favorite burrito. My favorite is El Indio's carne asada burrito with beans, cheese, and guacamole..order it "mojado" and you have the best burrito I've ever had in my life..also, they're open 24/7 and they're located on Balboa and Roscoe on the northwest corner. My second favorite is Los Tres Hermanos on The northeast corner of Plummer and Sepulveda. I always order the Chimichanga burrito with carne asada with refried beans instead of pinto..the ingredients in the burrito are good but nothing special. What makes this my second favorite burrito is the orange "ranchera" sauce that they drown it in..it is out of this world! (I always order extra) it's so good that I'm thinking about going there to order JUST the sauce and then driving over to El Indio and pouring it on their burrito =D

I love La Taquiza on Fig/28th, and Tacos Arrizas in Echo Park.

And here I thought anything/everything served in a tortilla was a taco!

The worse Mexican food I've ever tasted was a taco truck in Downtown LA. I've been so traumatized by that awful encounter that I'm reluctant to try another truck.

Best Mexican fast food is King Taco. Warning about the red sauce - have a fire extinguisher handy.

I don't understand how people can like Burritos. They're pretty awful, if you ask me. Even the "good" ones. Yuck.

there are a lot of bad taco trucks in LA. But there are a lot of good ones too.

my advice is to read this blog and stick to the top 10 taco trucks. My favorite is el matador on western. sooo good.

paco's is great on the westside. i've had some amazing burritos as well from trucks. even the new "korean bbq" style burritos are delicious, especially from Kogi and Bool.

pacos beans taste really bland to me. And the burritos are close to $10 each
