I like that idea, but wouldn't that mean they'd have to include the South Bay and Gateway Cities as part of the city of LA? Like Torrance, Long Beach, Redondo Beach, etc.

True. Then maybe not South Bay and the Gateway Cities

I voted for The Borough System.

If you want to understand what a disaster a total split up would be, simply look 350 air miles to your north-northwest. What we have up here is a balkanized mess!
