I am visiting Hammond for 2 weeks due to some work and would prefer staying in Hammond itslef rather than mandeville or covington. I am looking for hotel or extended stay accomadation for 2 weeks and car rental for 2 weeks.

Any suggestion which hotel or extended stay would be affordable and yet clean and safe as I have to pay out of my pocket.

Wireless Internet (WIFI) needed.

Free breakfast will be a plus.

Thanks in anticipation.

There's no local hotel in Hammond that stands out above the chains. I'd suggest any old extended stay type hotel so you'll be more comfortable.

How about Value Place in Hammond?

any other extended stay? Hotels are too expensive for 2 weeks.

I pass those in a lot of cities. They look nice enough, nothing too fancy but it doesn't sound like you're out to be pampered. The prices are great for weekly rates also. Most of them are very new.
